Job announcement: Kaleidoscope Circles

Hello! I am the director of Kaleidoscope Circles , which is an institute dedicated to teaching college-level classes to high-school students. We currently have a mathematics circle called Euler Circle , which I run, and we’re looking to expand into other fields. We are seeking an instructor to develop a curriculum and teach classes in the new area. Our preferred areas are artificial intelligence (with a focus on AI safety), computer science, and physics, but we’re open to hiring someone in a different area as well if we find a great fit. Our ideal candidate will be well versed in the subject, ideally having a PhD in the field, since we believe that advanced students need to have mentors who are professionals in their field, and will have interesting thoughts about what advanced precollegiate education ought to look like.. This is a part-time job for the moment. We will pay $50K/year for roughly a half-time job (teaching three evenings a week at first), and we can try to help you find...
