IIT Kanpur has recently initiated the Wadhwani School of AI and Intelligent Systems, with a new Department of Intelligent Systems and various UG/PG programs: https://iitk.ac.in/wsais/index.php

The BTech program, for instance, would train students not only in AI, but also core areas of EE, ME, and CSE.  

Join the India Center at UCF for an interactive session highlighting the vision behind IIT Kanpur’s newly established school of AI, showcasing its academic, research, and translational strengths. Faculty members will share insights into the opportunities the school offers for students and researchers, including pathways to advanced study, innovation, and global collaboration. Students, faculty, and the wider community are invited to engage in this dialogue and learn more about how the School is building a vibrant ecosystem of scholars, including opportunities for future faculty to contribute to its growth. 

Prof. Indranil Saha and Prof. Ketan Rajawat will be traveling to USA to visit a few Universities and meet senior PhD students. They will be mostly interested in meeting potential faculty candidates in allied areas (e.g. IE, EE, ME, AE, in addition to CS), but we will be happy to meet anyone who is considering coming back to India with an academic position.
