Spring 2026 PFF Applications Open & Graduate Student Resources at CTE
I hope your semester is progressing smoothly. As we move into the heart of the term, I’m reaching out to share ongoing opportunities from the Center for Teaching Excellence (CTE) and to announce that our Preparing Future Faculty (PFF) program is now accepting applications for Spring 2026.
The PFF program, in partnership with the Office of Graduate
Professional Development, is tailored for doctoral, postdoc, and
terminal master’s students interested in faculty careers. This
semester-long program offers guidance on the faculty job search,
tenure and promotion, mentoring, and effective teaching practices. We invite
your graduate students and postdocs to apply and take the next step toward
their professional goals. The deadline to apply for the Spring 2026 PFF
course is November 21, 2025.
Additionally, our Passport to Great Teaching program continues
to offer workshops and the chance to earn Center for the Integration of
Research, Teaching, and Learning (CIRTL)
certificates at the Associate, Practitioner, and Scholar levels. As a CIRTL
network institution, UF graduate students and postdocs enjoy free access to
courses, events, and workshops with experts across the network. Graduate
students and postdocs can subscribe to the CIRTL Network newsletter
to receive updates on upcoming events, workshops, courses, professional
development opportunities, and academic job postings.
Please encourage your students to subscribe to the CTE Newsletter for updates
on workshops, conferences, and professional development opportunities at UF. If
you would like more information about our programs or wish to schedule a
presentation for your classes or meetings, please feel free to schedule a meeting with me.
We look forward to connecting and supporting your students’ teaching and professional development journeys.
Warm regards,
Kexuan Wu
