Stephen C. O'Connell Center is Hiring Interns!

Looking for a fun and dynamic work environment? The O’Connell Center is currently hiring for Summer and Fall 2026 Internship positions! 

Summer and Fall 2026 Applications Close: March 15th at 11:55 pm.

We offer semester-long, paid internship positions but will give special attention to anyone who would consider the internship for a longer time. We are looking for individuals who can work in a fast-paced environment and are willing to learn and advance their knowledge in the following fields: 

• Facilities (1 in Summer and 2 in Fall): Facility interns will gain experience in Event Management, Event Planning, Event Coordination, Guest Services, Personnel Management, Client/Promoter Relations, Crowd Management, and more!
• Employee Relations (1 in Summer and 1 in Fall): Employee Relations interns get experience in the Hire Process, Staff Engagement Planning, Improving Staff Morale, Employee Training, Record Management, and more!
• Marketing (1 in Fall): The Marketing internship provides experience in Marketing, Advertising, Promotions, Audience Engagement, Box Office Functions, Media/Press/Public Relations and more!

 

The Stephen C. O’Connell Center is a multipurpose arena that hosts a variety of events—including NCAA Division 1 sports, concerts, trade shows, speakers, commencement ceremonies, and so much more! If you want to gain more knowledge of the events industry, we encourage each of you to apply!
