Fall 2026 GatorLead Program

Applications now open! Apply through July 17, 2026!

Date distributed: July 30, 2026
Distributed to: All Graduate Students, Postdocs, Associate Deans, Coordinators, and Staff

The application for the UF Graduate School’s next GatorLead program opens today. The Fall 2026 program will meet via Zoom from 1:55 to 3:50 p.m. on Thursdays from August 20 through November 19.

GatorLead is a semester-long leadership development program for graduate students and postdocs interested in leadership roles in any career sector. Through it, you will enhance leadership skills and mentoring within a productive communal environment through interactive workshops, small team discussions, one-on-one mentoring, and career path research.

Graduate students in terminal master’s degree programs (such as the Master of Fine Arts), doctoral students, and postdocs aspiring to leadership roles in any career sector are invited to apply.

Selected graduate students are eligible to take GatorLead for course credit. Students will be given instructions on registration if selected for the course. (Please note that graduate students are welcome to opt out of the credit-bearing option.) If selected, postdocs are invited to participate in the program as-is.

The deadline to apply is Friday, July 17, 2026.
