Calling for participants for a VR Meditation Research Study (IRB#202600959)

Dear all,

We are recruiting participants for a University of Florida research study on mindfulness in Virtual Reality (VR) (IRB#202600959). If you are 18 or older, have normal or corrected-to-normal vision, and can read and understand English, you may be eligible!

The study takes about 30–40 minutes in Malachowsky Hall (Room 5060). Participants will complete a short, guided meditation in a VR coffee shop environment and go through a few questionnaires and a brief follow-up interview. As a thank-you, you'll receive a free soda after the session.

Interested in trying VR or taking a short mindful break? We'd love to have you participate! Please complete this brief cybersickness screening first. Or scan the QR code on the attached poster. If eligible, you'll be redirected to schedule a session with the research team:

We’d really love to have you participate! Your time and support would mean a lot to us and greatly help our research. Feel free to share this invitation with others who may be interested. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to email me.
