Student Assistant Needed - ECE

Job Title MEST Student Assistant

Hours and Salary: 5-10 hours a week & $16/hr 

JOB DESCRIPTION:

Part-time position with MEST center - We are looking for a Web Developer to maintain and enhance our website, ensuring its reliability, security, and performance. The role includes implementing updates, optimizing code, troubleshooting issues, and supporting the integration of new features.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:       

Must be an active on-campus UF student.

Must be a U.S. citizen

Must be:

  • Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and responsive design.
  • Familiarity with backend technologies (e.g., PHP, Node.js, Python, or similar).
  • Experience with CMS platforms (e.g., WordPress, Drupal) and version control (e.g., Git).
  • Strong understanding of website performance optimization and security best practices.
