Grad Talk! — the University of Florida Graduate School’s official podcast on Spotify — is dropping its fourth episode of the season today: Global Gators: Stories from UF’s International Students.

In line with the season’s theme — Your Journey, Your Future, Your Gator Grad Story — this episode spotlights UF alumna Andrea Arroyo of Peru (Master of Arts in Mass Communication 2024) and current UF student Fatima Akinola of Nigeria (Mathematics Doctor of Philosophy). Both share their experiences balancing opportunities and challenges while navigating graduate school in the United States. Their stories highlight resilience, adaptability, and the important contributions that international students bring to the Gator Nation.
