UF's award-winning nonprofit student newsroom The Independent Florida Alligator is seeking UF and Santa Fe College students to join our developer and data team for the Spring 2026 semester. We’re looking for students with strong familiarity of HTML, CSS and JavaScript who have a passion for improving the UI/UX of our website, Alligator.org. The ideal candidate has a passion for user- and mobile-friendly design and is interested in supporting our mission of nonprofit journalism. This position is largely remote with in-person meetings every Sunday at 2 p.m. in our office about 2 miles off the UF main campus.
