Graduate Research Opportunity: 3D Skin Lesion Reconstruction

Graduate Research Opportunity: 3D Skin Lesion Reconstruction   Avadilon is seeking 2–3 graduate students to work on an interdisciplinary research project involving computer vision, 3D reconstruction, multispectral imaging, and machine learning.   The project focuses on reconstructing accurate 3D surface geometry of skin lesions from multispectral imaging data (RGB, near-infrared, and ultraviolet) for a real-world medical device application. Key challenges include handling wavelength-dependent tissue effects, designing efficient reconstruction methods, and supporting reliable comparison of lesion shape across visits.   Commitment: 10–15 hours/week Pay: $25/hour   Students with interest or experience in computer vision, computational imaging, 3D reconstruction, machine learning, or computational physics are encouraged to apply by sending their resume to Michael Dillhyon ( md@avadilon.com ).
