  As we move further into the spring semester and graduate students continue to plan their professional development activities, I wanted to share two upcoming presentation/conference opportunities for graduate students and postdocs:  1.                   The CIRTL Network Teaching-as-Research Presentations  (April 8, 2026) is an online presentation session where graduate students and postdocs present Teaching-as-Research projects focused on improving teaching and learning practices. Foundry-OPS Position Description

  Position Description: We are seeking a Technical Infrastructure Coordinator (20 hours/week, OPS) to establish the core technical foundation for a software and AI development collaborative for the MS in CS program at UF's Jacksonville Campus. This role will include configuring and managing GitHub organization and workflows, set up AI-assisted coding tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.), implement project management platforms, and create documentation for development best practices. The ideal candidate will have strong GitHub/Git experience, familiarity with modern development tools, and the ability to establish technical infrastructure that enables student teams to collaborate effectively on real-world software projects. Currently enrolled UF students (undergraduate or graduate) or recent graduates in CS, Computer Engineering, or related fields are encouraged to apply.
