Interface 2026 Call for Proposals
The University of
Florida’s Center for Teaching Excellence invites UF and non-UF faculty,
staff, teaching assistants, graduate assistants, post-docs, and
educators to submit proposals for a 30 or 50-minute session at the 2026
Interface Conference, held in the Reitz Union on Tuesday, April 28 and
Wednesday, April 29. Application

Summer 2026 USDA-ARS AI Research Internships
The University of
Florida, through a grant with the USDA, is seeking UF doctoral students
for Summer 2026 research internships using artificial intelligence
techniques (broadly defined). Interns will work primarily remotely with
scientists at USDA Agricultural Research Service (ARS) labs, with up to
two weeks of travel to the host lab (travel funds included).
Participants must remain within the U.S. during the 10-week

NRC Research and Fellowship Programs
The National
Academies of Sciences, Engineering, and Medicine administer two
prestigious research fellowship programs that are open to postdoctoral
and senior researchers with a Ph.D., Sc.D., M.D., or D.V.M. (or near
completion). These programs are designed to advance scientific
discovery and innovation and provide the opportunity to design
independent research projects, collaborate with leading scientists, and

January 29, 2026 for UF’s highest student honor
Since 1921, the University of Florida Hall of Fame has honored
graduate, professional, and senior undergraduate students who have
consistently demonstrated commitment to improving the University of
Florida through campus and community involvement and scholastic
achievement. As UF’s highest student leadership honor, no more than 25
students are inducted into the Hall of Fame each year.
The UF Division of Student Life is now calling for 2026 applications
for the UF Hall of Fame. The deadline to apply is 4 p.m. Thursday,
