Full-Stack Developer (OPS Student Assistant)

We are seeking a Full-Stack Developer to support the development of an AI-powered learning platform. The project involves building custom AI chat features and educational interfaces that integrate with UF's AI infrastructure.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain front-end and back-end components of an AI-powered web application.
  • Integrate and customize AI chat functionality using the UF AI Navigator API.
  • Design and manage databases and cloud services.
  • Collaborate with the research team to implement custom educational and user-interface features.
  • Troubleshoot bugs, optimize performance, and support ongoing feature development.

Required Qualifications:

  • Experience with full-stack web development.
  • Familiarity with the UF AI Navigator API and prior experience integrating AI services into applications.
  • Experience with front-end and back-end technologies, including JavaScript, Python, SQL, Firebase, or related frameworks/tools.

Position Details:

  • Start Date: July 8, 2026
  • End Date: September 1, 2026
  • Hours: Up to 20 hours per week.
  • Compensation: $20–$25 per hour, depending on experience.
