Individual Consultations: Starting in the Spring 2025 semester, the Office of Graduate Professional Development will hold open, drop-in office hours for UF graduate students looking to discuss career advancement, job search, professional development workshops, and other opportunities. Bring something you're working on, general questions about career development, or simply pop in to say hello! Office hours will be held by Dr. Jim Gillespie in Grinter Hall 127 and via Zoom (linked here) on Mondays (10:00 am –12:00 pm) and Thursdays (2:00 – 4:00 pm). Office hours dates and times, along with Zoom
links for virtual meetings, will also be posted to the Office of Graduate

The Master and Doctoral Student Industry Meet-up is next week! Master and Doctoral Student Industry
Meet-Up is an open networking event for UF graduate students and advanced
degree-holding alumni to connect with employers and industry
professionals. Employers attending the event are looking to recruit UF
graduate students and alumni for a variety of experiences- including
internships and jobs. Employers also attend to support graduate students in
building their professional networks. This event allows students and
employers to meet each other in a more casual, relaxed environment. Sample
