General Web Server Administrator
We are seeking a skilled General Web Server Administrator to
join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the smooth functioning
and user-friendly experience of our web server. Your primary duties will
include creating an appealing landing/front page with intuitive icons to
facilitate easy access to various tools and pipelines developed in our group.
By enhancing the user experience, you will contribute to the overall
satisfaction and productivity of our users.
Additionally, as a General Web Server Administrator, you
will be responsible for troubleshooting tasks such as assisting with account
creation and addressing any issues related to web server usage tracking. Your
strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail will be crucial in
ensuring a seamless and efficient user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain a visually appealing landing/front
page for our web server.
- Create intuitive icons and navigation elements to provide
easy access to different features and functionalities.
- Collaborate with the development team to ensure seamless
integration of new features and updates into the web server.
- Troubleshoot issues related to account creation, user
access, and web server usage tracking.
- Provide timely and effective support to users, addressing
their inquiries and resolving any technical issues they encounter.
- Monitor and analyze web server performance to identify
areas for improvement and implement necessary enhancements.
- Stay updated with emerging web technologies and trends to
continuously enhance the user experience.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information
Technology, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).
- Proven experience as a Web Server Administrator or a
similar role.
- Proficiency in web development technologies such as HTML,
CSS, JavaScript, and related frameworks.
- Familiarity with user experience (UX) design principles
and ability to create visually appealing and user-friendly interfaces.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot
technical issues efficiently.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to
provide effective support to users.
- Attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks
effectively.
- Knowledge of server monitoring and performance analysis
tools is a plus.
