Our program provides a lot of flexibility with our tutors and our student athletes. Tutors can work with individuals or in small group settings.  Tutors and student athletes (and sometimes advisors) work together to set up times that are best for everyone, we have morning, afternoon and nighttime sessions in our center in Farrior Hall on campus. Pay rate will be determined based on level of education as well as teaching/tutoring experience, and undergraduate students start at $15/hr, graduate students start at $17/hr, and PhD candidates start at $20/hr.    If you have interested students from the Department, they can follow the link below. I graduated from UF in 2019. Now I'm working for Redpanda Data and am responsible for our scholarship program. I'm reaching out to you in the hopes that you might be able to share the details of our Hack the Planet Scholarship with applicants who would be a good fit! The goal of this program, now in its third year, is to support underrepresented groups in technology who want to hack on a distributed systems-related project over a four-month period.  The scholarship recipient receives $1,500/month, weekly 1-1 mentorship from our most senior staff engineers (some of whom have worked on the largest systems in the world), a monthly 1-1 with our CEO, as well as code review and design review to hack on any project of their choosing – preferably open source. The scholarship recipient has no obligations to our company.
