Alex graduated from UF’s Warrington College of Business in 2014 with a degree in Marketing. His tech career began at a digital marketing agency post-graduation, where he discovered HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, igniting a passion for software development. 

Soon afterwards he enrolled in a coding bootcamp to grow his skills, eventually transitioning to a junior web developer role at a startup in Orlando. While working, he pursued postgraduate courses and, in 2022, earned a Master’s in Computer Science from the University of Texas at Austin. 

During his studies, he interned at NASA twice, both working in app development for the Human Health and Performance Directorate at Johnson Space Center in Houston, Texas. 

Now a solutions architect at Tata Consultancy Services, he leads client engagement, solution design, and architectural development of IT solutions for Fortune 500 companies spanning financial services, healthcare, energy, and manufacturing. 

Despite his Texas ties, Alex remains a Gator at heart, eager to inspire the next generation of engineers. Whether you seek career advice, one-on-one mentorship, or guidance on breaking into the tech industry, Alex is here to help and share his experiences.
