2024 HPCC Systems Intern Program Overview - Tech Talk

HPCC Systems is now accepting applications from students who would like to join the HPCC Systems team as an intern in 2024 and work alongside our HPCC Systems Open Source Project development team.

We invite all students to join us in a virtual meet up on January 19th 12pm ET to hear an overview of the HPCC Systems internship program and how students can prepare themselves for becoming an integral part of our open source community. During the session, students will be able to ask live questions and interact with the organizers of the internship program. For more information and registration details, please visit the event page.

Application is by proposal submission to complete a specific HPCC Systems related project. This can be a project from our list, a project suggested by the students themselves or a project that supports work being carried out by their school. Student suggested projects must leverage HPCC Systems in some way. Proposals should be submitted through our careers website before the deadline date of Friday, March 22, 2024. Students are welcome and encouraged to liaise with project mentors for support and guidance as they prepare their proposal.

Our projects offer a wide range of topics including working on a new feature or enhancement, providing the ability to integrate third party products alongside HPCC Systems, and more. Most projects require a level of coding knowledge and experience, although we provide free online training for students who are not familiar with our ECL language.

We welcome applications from students across the academic spectrum from high school to PhD. It's a 12-week program over the summer months, but we can be flexible about start and end dates to take account of differences in semester dates. It's a global program, which supports remote working for students located in time zones around the world.

Any questions can be directed to students@hpccsystems.com.
