Summer internship opportunity
Q6 Cyber is a company in Miami that does data analytics of the dark web and other cybercriminal sites, including monitoring malware networks and botnets. We have a connection with them through the UF CIO/CISO’s office and I recently heard they are looking for summer interns in the following areas:
· Web based data visualization for complex network and service structures (directed graphs, both cyclic and acyclic ) in Java and Javascript or Typescript
· Analyzing network packet capture and filtering network noise to find user sessions and data exfiltration in low % (1%-3%) netflow data in Java or Python.
· Develop unconventional data exfiltration techniques on Windows to test detection technologies in C#
· Cross platform endpoint packet capture (C, C#)
· Network enumeration from passive data collection (Java or Python)
· System information collection (C#, python, C)
· Data science & machine learning
Let me know if you’re interested in applying. If you can put a short couple of paragraphs about how your background makes you particularly fit for one or more positions and include your resume/CV, that would be optimal.
