Invitation to Support Engineering Grad Student Dissertation Study

My name is Abimelec Mercado, and I am a Ph.D. student in the Engineering Education Systems and Design program at Arizona State University. As part of my dissertation research, I am conducting a study that explores engineering graduate students' self-efficacy in writing their thesis, dissertation, or applied project report.

I'm writing to request your assistance in distributing our survey to the graduate students in your department. Our goal is to obtain a national sample of graduate engineering programs, and the University of Florida's participation is crucial to achieving this objective. The online survey is designed to be anonymous and takes about 10 minutes to complete. You can find a message you can share with your graduate students below, as well as an attached poster if it is more convenient. All protocols were approved by ASU's IRB office (ASU Study #00015513).

Your support in sharing this survey with your graduate students would be greatly appreciated. By participating, they will contribute valuable insights to our research, which will ultimately benefit the engineering graduate student community as a whole.

If you have any questions or concerns, please don't hesitate to reach out. Additionally, if you can't assist at this time, could you kindly direct me to someone in your department who might be able to help with this request?

Thank you very much for considering this request. Your assistance is invaluable in helping us spread the word about this project.
