Clinical & Translational Science Certificate/Concentration and the CTS Team T32 Training Grant

                                             Clinical & Translational Science Certificate/Concentration

and the CTS Team T32 Training Grant

Add a new dimension to your graduate degree at UF!

If your career goals include research related to human health, consider adding a graduate certificate or concentration (co-major) in Clinical & Translational Science. The CTS Team T32 Training Program provides predoctoral trainees with the skills required to develop a career in clinical and translational research. The program uses a team-science approach to provide a mentored interdisciplinary collaborative research experience. T32 Trainees are expected to identify a partner pursuing their PhD degree in a different college to form a CTS Team. CTS Teams will propose novel specific aims to support their dissertation research via interdisciplinary collaboration.

Eligibility Requirements

  • All students are eligible to participate in the CTS graduate program
  • Research must be health-related
  • Research must be clinical or translation (not sure what that means?  Come to an info session and find out!)
  • For the T32 training grant:
    • 1st or 2nd year PhD student, prior to defending their dissertation proposal
    • US citizen or permanent resident (for T32 only; everyone is eligible for PhD program certificate or concentration)
