Assistance with Walk Out of Term Application

The UF International Center would issue 2 types of invitation letters for our students and their family members; an invitation for a general visit and an invitation for graduation ceremony.

 

Receiving those letters may help their family member’s visa application, but those letters are not immigration requirement. They can apply for visas without invitation letters.

 

If a student cannot get the WOOT approval, they can go with a general invitation letter or without an invitation letter.

 

I would discuss with our International students compliance team adding an explanation on our website regarding receiving an invitation letter so that our students would understand this.
