Spring 2025 sessions for postdocs and graduate students!

The University of Florida Graduate School invites you to apply for IMAGE (Inclusive Mentor Academy for Graduate Education). IMAGE follows a nationally validated curriculum for mentor training, focusing on those in the earlier stages of their experiences as graduate student and postdoc mentors working with high school, undergraduate, or early-stage graduate students. IMAGE is open to all disciplines.

In Spring 2025, IMAGE will be offered in eight 90-minute sessions for two separate groups:

  • For postdocs: Wednesdays from January 22 to March 12, 2025 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. All sessions will be online. 
  • For graduate students: Thursdays from January 23 to March 13, 2025 from 2 to 3:30 p.m. All sessions will be held in person at the main Gainesville campus.

OPS student needed on various projects

Computational Medical Imaging Lab at UF College of Medicine is looking for a highly motivated OPS student with background in engineering, particularly in image analysis, computer vision, and machine learning to conduct a project on cell classification using fluorescence images of tissue with glioblastoma. Candidates should send Dr. Paul ( Anindya.Paul@medicine.ufl.edu ) or Dr. Naglah ( Ahmed.Naglah@medicine.ufl.edu )  their CVs and a brief description of thier project experience involving relevant background.
